FORM 1 SUPPRESSOR ENGRAVING
ENGRAVING
Altered Arms utilizes the latest in laser engraving technology to exceed the BATFE requirements for engraving a firearm, receiver or parts. The ATF requires that all Form 1 suppressors be engraved with the manufacturer’s name (you or legal entity), city and state, model number (NA does not need to be engraved), serial number and caliber. The required information will be engraving in the middle of the tube unless we are engraving another part last a blast chamber. The minimum depth required by the ATF is .003″, but we always engrave up to 0.005″ deep for coatings.
Information from the Form 1 paperwork will be used for engraving. We do not engrave NA if used for model. We do not engrave the words MODEL, CALIBER or SERIAL.
